Wait, I'm back already. I know something broken and rusted - me. Rusty joints, a little warped, crazy but still kicking. I am however, not yet abandoned. I promise to return w rustier rust.

Rust looks good on you, Pat.

Beautiful set Dennis. #6 looks like Rockland harbor.

Rockland Harbor it is, and #7 as well. And thanks for your comment.

A recent camping trip to the mid-coast area of Maine also served as the maiden voyage of my new Nikon D750 and a few new lenses. The Pemaquid Point lighthouse was the highlight but I enjoyed shooting at a few other spots as well. Here is a sampling.

Excellent job on this one. This is one lighthouse I have yet to see.

I like the set, Dennis; were #1 and #2 taken from Mt. Battie?

Yes, they were. My first time up that hill.

Well done, Karin. I never tire of seeing photos of "my lighthouse." I grew up just one town inland from there.

Today I went to an antique tractor show in Eliot, Maine. As I was leaving I saw this beautiful '57 Ranchero parked next to my car. I know some of you out there like these things so I took a few shots for you.

btw... it's "haba," not harbor 😉

I'm a Maine native - I should have known that.

A recent camping trip on the Maine coast was haunted by fog so here's my attempt to make the most of it. Here's a few from Camden Hills State Park and then from Camden Harbor.

Yes, nice photo, Rob.
It looks like it could be up to a 1962 Corvette. 1963 and later they had those ugly Stingrays.

1961 was the year they changed the design of the rear end. 1960 was the last year for the design in the photo.

I like barns, too. Here's a few I've shot recently. The locations are approximate - all were shot while on trips to nowhere with my camera.

Great shot, Rob. That Corvette would be a 1960 or earlier and it's the car that made me a car buff. As for Rt. 113, the last time I was up there I saw some stunning foliage but no "Vettes.
