The worst color for a Ferrari, only second to white. Red and yellow best.
I would agree if I were buying one Julian, and add black to that, but this green doesn't look bad on this particular car

Very nice.
I like the older ones, the '65 especially.
thanks bbrown, I also prefer the looks of the old ones!

Nice Set, autofocus. I worked with a hot rodder once. He told me everything you see at a show is for sale, whether there is a sign or not. Therefore, appropriate title.
thanks Laramie, I suppose you can say everything has a price tag!

Thanks Vinny. i've never seen the last two.
Somewhat limited production on both cars with the Apollo totals of only 88 units. Apollo was created by an American, but the design was done in Italy, and the car used either of two different Buick V8 small blocks as engine choices.
Bizzarrini was an engineer and designer and in his early years before he built his own cars he had worked for both Ferrari and Lamborghini. Lamborghini's impressive V12 motor was engineered and designed by him. While at Ferrari, he was responsible for the design of several of their cars. Probably his greatest work came in the form of the 250 GTO, which today is probably the most expensive and coveted Ferrari with one recently being sold at auction for 75 million smackers! And the person who bought that one was the founder and CEO of Weather Tech floor mats...I guess he's doing OK!

Great shot. Any tips besides wearing white pants tucked into socks to avoid them?
spray yourself and the pant legs with Deep Woods Off, and good call on tucking in the pants legs, it helps!

Vince, Thanks, for viewing and for the feedback. A dog that belonged to a fellow I worked with contracted Lyme disease and Rocky Mountian Spotted Fever at the same time from a tick. How strange was that!
yeah, they can be scary! I used to live on a pretty wooded site in Connecticut, and it got to the point where I dreaded going out into the yard unless I sprayed myself thoroughly with bug repellent! If I didn't do that it was not uncommon for me to come back into the house with one or two ticks on me!
and as a former New Yorker there's always the classic, poignant, and multi-purposed "up yours!" ;))
Wonderful shot of "the simple artichoke," Ernesto, but I still prefer the "complex variety" stuffed with garlic, seasoned breadcrumbs, and Romano cheese! ;))
I hate the little bastards! Over the years I have been bitten by ticks diagnosed with Lyme and babesiosis, and all I can say is thank goodness for antibiotics! Apparently, there's a tick disease that will make eating beef a never again thing! Imagine a life without burgers and steak? And, unfortunately, there are other tick born diseases that if untreated will become lifelong problems, and maybe lead to an early death! Some great info and shots though, people need to know about this, now being a serious problem throughout areas of the country!
