Very nicely done Jim. Generative fill is a great tool and is going to be more useful as they get the bugs out.

Against a lot of advice over the years I have saved every shot I have ever taken, negatives, prints, digital images waiting for post processing to catch up with my ineptitude. It seems that time is approaching.

You can download and install the Photoshop (Beta) from your Cloud App. There are multiple of YouTube videos detailing how it works.

If you process in Pixinsight, I've found with Globular Clusters to use the GAME script from:

http://www.skypixels.at/pixinsight_scripts.html#game

To create a mask that includes only the core of the cluster, apply it as a mask, and perform HDRMultiTransform. Brings out hidden structures/detail.

Have camera makers lost vision of actually making photos?
It seems that like the nuclear arms race of the cold war, cameras have generally become overkill to the taking of photos.
Yes, some advances are welcome, especially in the realm of AF and fps. But overall does a camera need to be so complex, needing over 1,500 pages of instructions in some cases, to use them?
Or are all the bells and whistles truly needed and used?
Just wondering for a friend.

The features may not be necessary for you, but they are for me. We barely scratch the surface when it comes to modern camera operation, getting comfortable and using a fixed number of settings.

The difference between now and then is, designers cared about the look under the hood as well as the total package.

I thought I was seeing fog. But I think I'm seeing a fogged lens.
Dog doo.

This is why I installed two dew heaters on my RedCat51 and the Uniguide 50 guide scope. I run them off of the 12 VDC outputs of the AIS AIR PLus.

I believe globes are part of the milkyway galaxy. Not outside of it

Globular clusters, for the most part, like M3, M13, and Omega Centauri are part of the Milky Way, but they orbit outside of the galactic disk.

Sasha Wyss of View Into Space has a multipart series on Pixinsight processing, which includes a new technique for using the Curves Transformation process. This makes a significant difference in image processing.

M13, a Globular Cluster in the constellation Hercules, is 25,000 L.Y distant. There are over 300,000 stars in M31; I counted them all.
