I drive a big rig around the country... lots of solar farms.
My question is...
why are they all so low to the ground?
If the panels and supporting equipment were raised by possibly one foot, possibly more, there would be room, light and in many cases water available for growing many types of gourmet vegetables, speciality flowers, or grasses for grazing animals such as goats or sheep.
The panels protect the ground from too much sun, and water collects and then drips off anyway. The land could be rented out by whoever, and it seems to me everyone would benefit.
Pbly a pipe dream, but along with the question of tearing out forests and farmland, instead of recycling older areas that are all but deserted.
Ok, I think too much while I'm driving....

The only problem with that is the country will be run by 3 areas... Northeast, Northwest and southern California... leaving the rest of the country ignored.
Unless you have a better idea how every area and every v**e counts, we're stuck with the E*******l College....
I really don't think New Yorkers and citizens of say... Kansas... have all of the same concerns.
just because...
while going 70 mph, and with my phone.
The bad part about druving a semi is all the cool photos I see that I cant stop to take....
If you're interested in going a bit furthur...
Nook and Cranny Restaurant in Baileyville, Maine has some nice meals. I pickup loads at the Baileyville paper plant, and the restaurant just happens to be on the way back to the 95...
If I can get there when its open, the lobster bisque is wonderful and the lobster rolls are huge. I drive a semi, so I have to eat. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Also Dysarts Truck Stop has a decent restaurant. On Coldbrook exit off the 95.

Was walking out of a truck stop ladies room today. A young man ( about 6 or so) and his dad, both wearing masks, walked out of the men's room at the same time.
The youngster started to go. then stopped and said "After you... "
Dad grinned, I said Thank you. Would have been nice to see his smile, but, oh well.
Cute.
Nice shot.
But... I thot blue hour was cocktail time with all the Florida blue hairs! 🤣🤣🤣

Thinking about switching from windows with a 21 inch mediocre display to a 13 inch macbook air. Any thoughts on the size of the display and the ability to edit. I'd prefer the 16 inch of course but it's cost prohibitive. Thanks.
Even my 17" gaming laptop was too small for decent photo editing. You need ram, a decent video card and a good size monitor.
Cool! One of my motorcycle riding buddies from Hawaii just moved there, had been in Cali for a while. She can't get over how friendly everyone is. Totally different atmosphere.
They have to practice anyway. Skills like that need frequent practice. Just enjoy the show if you have a chance.
Palmetto bugs, my a**. They're just big cockroaches. 🤣🤣🤣
