This is Pumpkin, my son's family pet. I'm taking care of her this week while they are vacationing in Lewes, DE.
She's absolutely no trouble at all. Behaves very well and is adapting to her new surroundings this week. She goes back home on Friday.
They got her as a rescue about 3 yrs ago.

Aww Tom, she is precious and I'm glad you were able to enjoy her while your son and family were on vacation ♥

Thanks, love my pups! Love your handle.

We had a Shih Tzu we had to put down earlier this year at 12 years old. We got her as a puppy and had her spayed before her first heat. She was a puppy her whole life. We loved our pup.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Shih Tzu

Our little rescue was a "throw away" pup found at 8.5 months, (she has been with us almost 6 yrs.) in heat, nails that had probably never been cut, baby tooth needed to be removed, and we love her to death. We did one of those DNA test's (how accurate it is, who knows) supposed to be 50% Japanese Chin (which I don't see at all) 37.5% Yorkie and 12.5% Shih Tzu. We love her regardless of what she is, and she is just the best little girl. Whoever decided they didn't want her sure blew it, but we are truly blessed to have her in our lives.

I really like this original but so many people are "playing around" and having fun that I couldn't resist. So here's what I did, as best I can remember. a) Duplicated the background. b) Applied a crystalize filter. c) Softened the crystalized image with a gaussian blur. d) Reduced opacity to approximately 50% to blend it back to the original. e) Used a layer mask to hide the bloom and further adjusted the blur and opacity of the background. This image just came out, much like when Aaron threw the gold earrings into the fire and a golden calf just came out (he said.) The background reminded me of the fireworks that will be shot off this weekend.
I really like this original but so many people are... (show quote)

Wow!! I really like this ♥ ♥

If you've seen any of my work with dragons you've probably noticed that they are not at all artsy. I photograph them for the record and need to capture certain field markings for positive ID. I took this shot of a Common Green Darner that just emerged from its watery environment, shed its cuticle and started his new life as an aerial acrobat. I'm still not sure if I like the B&W or the color shot so I'll post both. Constructive criticism on what I should have done or not have done will be helpful.

Hi Doc, I just popped in and saw this. I may be one of the odd balls, but I really love your "artsy" one. I love to experiment with editing and while I feel my editing skills are lacking a lot, I envy those who can achieve some of the wonderful edits that they do. I say keep experimenting, if you are happy with your creations, then post away. Not everyone may like the artsy work, but I find it intriguing, a bit mysterious and I think you did a great job on this one ♥

I was excited to catch a few shots of another Great Spotted Male Woodpecker, this time I was standing on tiptoe and shooting through the kitchen window. A much larger bird than one I posted earlier. The wind was blowing a gale and he was hanging on. All are cropped.

Also a few roses to brighten your day.

Please try the downloads.

OH, these are just wonderful Sylvia, excellent photographs and I really enjoyed seeing them ♥ ♥

Thank you Bonnie She is such a great little girl. We'll never know what happened the first 8.5 months of her life, but we are so grateful she happened into our lives. She is my little rock star! ♥

What a face! she is so cute and you did a cool job of messing around

Why thank you kindly and a lot of what I end up is just that "messing around." I like to experiment with Topaz Studio and sometimes what I end up with works, and sometimes, well, not so much, but I did like this one Many thanks again ♥

Lovely shot Debbie, Glad you are back in your classes. I hoe to be going in a couple of weeks depending on the foot and back...

Hi Val, it was SOOO nice to get back to class, Penny and I both missed everyone terribly. I was really bad about working with her, as I was still working thru all of this, but we'll get back in the groove. I hope you are feeling better so you and Blue can get back to classes as well and thank you for the nice compliment ♥
