Beautiful, we are just starting to see things.
I'm pissed because I can't find any of the milkweed seeds I saved from last year. My wife swears that she didn't throw them out.

It is a start. And a fine one, too.
Well, daffodils always come up about this time in this area. Tulips are next, I do believe. I don't want to be in too much of a hurry because it takes just one good frost and the gardens never quite comes back as they should.

Spring has arrived there. Hope the train will be running soon
If it hadn't been so windy here, the train would have been up and running. Maybe. Lol.

Lionel has grown into a handsome dog Tom, my favourite breed of dog. Lovely shot of them.
Thanks, Sylvia! I wonder what, (how big) he will be when he is finished growing.

I have missed you and Julie here. Nice to see you and I hope you two are doing well. I'll bet those adorable boys we used to see here are about grown now. It's been a while.
It's scary. One starts high school next year. Another one plays corner back on his 7th grade tackle football team. Those are the ones you remember. There are more. Oh, boy!

Kudos to your wife and daughter! Lucky you and Lionel! Lovely pic!
Thank you! The best part so far is while he was teething heavily, he did not eat any of the trains under the Christmas tree. He did eat the tv remote, though.

My oldest daughter and my wife conspired to get me a dog. I really didn't want one.
Same with my father, he was cursed by the obligating gift of a mutt that must have had a lobotomy performed by a flea.

Free of his job, he was confined by taking care of a dog. Men find things to occupy them beyond a mutt child.

THIS BELONGS IN THE CHAT CATEGORY.
I think you're right!

You are very welcome! Even though I know what you meant, I have to say it, lol... This story is only beginning. Thanks!

That is a good size. My dog is 96 pounds and all muscle so can pull like a tractor if he wants to go in a particular direction. Good luck with your dog, they are wonderful creatures.
Ha, ha! I guess we both know what it is like to deal with a bundle of muscle! At other angles, you can see that he still has a bit of growing to do (groan!). Thank you!

What a beautiful dog. You take good care of him!! I see he and wife already love each other. Thanks for the photo. BE SAFE!!

Tom
Yes. His coloring and stance even as a puppy is one the reasons I decided to pull the trigger and purchase him from the rescue facility. He has been a lot of fun and not really that much work (it's not work if it is something one likes to do). And thank you for looking and you comment!

They must have thought you needed some major distracting if they got you a German Shepherd puppy! But obviously his training is going well and once he grows up he'll be the steadiest companion you could want. Congratulations. And don't neglect to share more photos of Lionel. Which, by the way, is a great name.
I think you are right! This my 3rd one. Got her in 1972. Got the 2nd one in 1986. So, I guess I like German shepherds.
