Not really to cold, around 30 degrees wind was blowing, snow was melting on the pavement, but not the grass. Might have been the melting snow on the camera, getting into places it shouldn't be. It was the second time I had a camera freeze on me. First time was during the swearing in of a new governor that was held outside on the Capitol steps in Jan. Shooting with a 35mm film camera.

Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, MO. There were about 2 million lights in the display. To many people there, it was hard to get shots with out people in the way. A snowy and cold night. My camera shutter froze towards the end of the night. Went into the gift shop to warm the camera. That had not happened to me for years.
