I sold many of my older lenses to help with the cost of my R5. Great camera is worth the cost to me.

I'm with you Regis. I did the same thing...sold older bodies and most of my lenses. Love the r5! And no husband anymore to worry about what I spend. :-)

Yesterday morning went on my photo expedition. Lucky to find this snowy on the sand dunes near the coastline. Half the time the snowy sleeps and the moment it opens its yellow eyes, the owl paparrazi (including me) shoots away a million clicks ! All pictures handheld, 2nd and 3rd pictures were cropped.

Location: Sandy Point State Reservation, Ipswich, MA.

Hi Venkatesh,

How do you like the 100-500? I'm thinking that's my next lens for the R5

Great shots!

Excellent ending to what started as a very sad story. Glad it was only the filter.

I will gladly send this to someone who can use it. my new camera (Canon r5) doesn't use compact flash cards so this reader could use a new home.

first come, first receives! :-)

I recently purchased an R5 and although I have only taken 5000 shots with it, overall I am really happy with the camera. A huge upgrade over my 5D4, 7D2, etc.
I have had an issue occur 3 times that I am wondering if anyone else has seen. When I am following a bird using AF Servo mode the camera has locked up. I have a still shot in the viewfinder but no other back buttons work on the camera. When I push in the shutter release button totally in, the camera goes blank and then reboots. It comes back to the same settings I was using when it locked up. At first I thought it was a low battery, but today it occurred with a 95% charged battery.
Anyone else experienced this?
