I have been using PSP for about 15 years. Went to purchase Photoshop, but the store was out of that software so ended up buying PSP. I update it regularly and find it great and easy to use for family photos, landscapes, and nature shots. My granddaughter will no longer stick her tongue out at me when I take her picture because she knows I will put a bug on it or otherwise change it. Similarly when she wanted to do a Harry Potter photo book, I was able to add flames, and other effects using their plugins. Also like the fact Corel puts many instructional videos on its site. Not able to compare this program with others, but do enjoy using it and intend to continue to use it.
I have been using Hallmark Card Studio (that may not be the correct name) for over 10 years. This program permits me to customize both the squares with the days for birthdays, anniversaries, false holidays I make up, and other remarks or photos or clip art and also customize what goes above the calendar section. It even permits changing "Friday" to "TGIF". Sometimes I place one or two photos above the calendar, sometimes more.
