While on my way to Rehoboth Beach, DE last week I noticed a tremendous amount of white in a nearby farming field. So I got off the main road to investigate and saw what must have been 10,000+ white geese. Never saw anything like it before. So, I hurriedly went to the trunk and grabbed my Canon T5 to get some shots. I'm glad I stopped.

#4, that's a crazy download. Awesome shots

A few picture I edited during the bad weather.. The boy with his sisters in not overly brilliant but to me shows the love he had for his sisters. The baby owl was found by someone and taken to the vets, I was there at the time and the vets did not want to know so I said I would take it to Screech Owl Sanctuary. Got in a few pictures before I took it and when it was old enough it was released back into the wild.

Yeah, Yeah, they are beautiful images

To make to first one (brotherly love) brilliant only requires a few tweaks in lighroom...just lighten his face, and turn up the blue slider.

I use compressed air, and the original lens pen.

For the most part, my lenses don't get dirty enough to use the lens pen, but for those times I try to take off the lens cap when it's already off.....that's when the lens pen comes out.

Seeking advice on this lens. Who has it? What are advantages? What kind of photos did you use it for? Overall level of satisfaction?
Thanks

It's a no brainer for $100. I have it, and it takes wonderfully sharp images, and is very light.

Here's a caged bird. Taken through the cage so the foreground cage bars are blurred out. Took it at 6400 ISO so kind of grainy, but still sharp considering the lighting and not optimal shooting conditions.
I'm happy with it, but use my Sigma Art 50 most of the time, since it's sharper yet (but $750 more expensive)

Especially hard when shooting wide open with thin DOF. Also hard when using max zoom at close distance. Just a quarter of an inch focus, front or back, can make or break.

You might be right about getting outside and shooting with it. Inside with max zooms most often yield less than desirable results for me.

See, if you pixel peep, you'd say it's just slightly soft. But if you look at it normally, full size, you'd say it's razor sharp.

Here's my opinion on focus adjustment (after fighting with my 7D for 5 years). You're chasing your tail. It will never be perfect. Too many other conditions effecting focus, namely lighting, zoom, and of course shutter and aperture.

I think your shot is fantastic
