Photoshop project from egg days.
Not all, Zgirl. I'm in Southern Illinois near the corner of IL, MO and KY. Heart of the Ozark Shawnee National Forest. Great area for birding and hiking.
Some like theirs fried good and brown... Some like theirs fried upside down. (one of my dad's army songs)
Nice to meet you. What bikes do you ride? East TN is great for bikes. I go there couple times each year near Telico Plains.

I concurre with loosing auto focus. They told me that would happen with my 100-400. Not a big deal, unless you're shooting sports or action. This has worked fine for most birding. I added a 3x viewfinder hood and just take my time (and leave a lot on the cutting room floor...). Pick your challenges.
Asheville is weird (by design). Plenty to shoot there.
Got Canon 2x for Christmas. On 100-400 zoom it needs lots of light but great reach. Added a Manfroto stabilizer to tripod one week later. Big difference.
Maggie Valley is a neat little town. Johnathan Creek Inn. Trout stream runs along the north side. Great restaurants walking distance. Wheels through time Motorcycle museum. Many day trip options.

Earlier in the week. I eat a raw egg yolk every morning. This just started evolving.
I've been shooting for stock photography and seeing what others are doing... Once I had the first egg and the bowl things just happened.
"I'm going to fix breakfast..." What could possibly go wrong?
Somehow an image came to mind and I not only spent the morning shooting eggs... but I went back to the farm to shoot chickens.
Go Figure.
