That's a nice platitude, but I would encourage the normal left (I hope that includes you) to not isolate on the furthest right. It is my observation that out here, in Wisconsin, and in New Mexico, there are very few people who want to actively eliminate "a******n". However, I would say that close to everyone I know in the three places, including Dems and GOP, are dead set against late term a******ns and most are against publicly funded a******ns.

In other words, choice is there TO A POINT. I, for one, can't figure out why that's not good enough for,us all to move on outside of political division. I fact, how about our elected i***ts get together and set the definition above for a******n and as a trade off get the backround checks and a reasonable "no fly" procedure????

It's over. The crying of the establishment GOP is over their loss of power going forward as the v**ers FINALLY let them know they want real change, not new deck chairs.

Being the victim, or survivor, of a tragedy does not make one an expert. It DOES, however, offer practical I sight. So, someone getting shot, and living, can talk of the slow motion, the pain, getting away, the recuperation, etc., but they have gained zero new expertise on guns themselves.

It's kinda odd how crazed we all are arguing guns as a means of death. If you talk with experts in hand-to-hand combat, small arms expertise, martial arts, etc., they pretty much across the board support the following statement:

All things being close to equal, at 20 feet a blade expert has a slight advantage over a gun. Within 10 feet, it isn't even a contest.......blade wins.

As for all of our mass shootings, whether they be by nuts or Islamist terrorists, or other...........for those who were not in OK City, I can assure you that I like my chances against any gun a lot more than I like them against a powerful bomb pulled up to the front of the building I'm in.

It's simple......I think true assault weapons are illegal. Hand guns require a license. Shotguns and rifles are somewhere in between. Enforce these freaking laws, forget political correctness and move against the gangs (folks, if you lived here in Chiraq you would just s**t!), and almost all the rest will fall into place.

Anyone screaming for more laws are just parrots repeating the political agenda of elected i***ts.
