It is also called Lower Antelope Canyon. $20 bucks a person for a 1 hour guided tour or $20 bucks per person for an unguided tour for 2 hours. Really don't need a guide. Here are a couple of mine

so are Lower Antelope Canyon and the Secret Canyon mentioned the same one?

That was a beautiful video. Nice to see Montana again. Haven't been there in a long time. I did a video of 170 of my Florida photos. How does the public view this? I show mine to small groups by playing the DVD on TV.

Its only viewable on You Tube, but since it went up we have had 7 new members join after seeing it. And the Exhibition for this Saturday is full with a waiting list.

plessner, Both Canyons are near Page Arizona and the tours to both of them start in Page. There are several companies that take tours to Antelope Canyon, only one that goes to Secret Canyon. You pay a little more for Secret Canyon but I feel it is worth it to have the canyon almost to yourselves. Both canyons are on Indian land so you have to use the tour companies.

thanks, I have been to Antelope Canyon twice and it was so crowded it was hard to get shots without people in the picture. Might be heading that way again this spring. Does Secret Canyon have the slots in the ceiling where the light comes through?

I've enjoyed looking at everyone's pictures. There certainly were some great examples shown. I'll share a couple that I think will work. The first one was taken about 10 days ago.

Ok.. I was all prepared for this last week for hump day and then I realized that it wasn't our (twin Jims') time to host LOL. I almost trampled all over poor Annette. I didn't even realize it until after I had already posted the link so I just changed it but didn't get any hits on it so I will go for round two.... As follows

I was trying to think of a subject I hardly seen before and something I can hone my own skills on so I though of this challenge although it is kind of two challenges in one.

Viewpoints are a great tool for us in photography if you use them properly. Before photographing your subject, take time to think about where you will shoot it from. Our viewpoint has a massive impact on the composition of our photo, and as a result it can greatly affect the message that the shot conveys. Rather than just shooting from eye level, consider photographing from high above, down at ground level, from the side, from the back, from a long way away, from very close up, and so on. I prefer this challenge to be from the high point just to make it a challenge.

Leading lines: When we look at a photo our eye is naturally drawn along lines. By thinking about how you place lines in your composition, you can affect the way we view the image, pulling us into the picture, towards the subject, or on a journey "through" the scene. There are many different types of line - straight, diagonal, curvy, zigzag, radial etc - and each can be used to enhance our photo's composition.

So let's see what you all come up with, I would like to see at least one photo that has both viewpoint and leading lines in the same photo..... Am I cruel or what!!

Most important LET'S HAVE A BLAST!!!

These are some from my nature walk a couple of weeks ago to one of My favorite places. I was in search of Eagles because they hang out here during the winter because they love trout, it's thier favorite food.... But I didn't run into any.
Ok.. I was all prepared for this last week for hum... (show quote)

a great challenge--thanks for taking the time for hosting
