Hair day:
Each year at the start of the Rose Parade, there is a fly over by military jets. Most of the time, it will be a few fighters and a B-2 bomber. I join a bunch of folks on this over pass that is about 3 miles from the start of the parade. Sometimes you know its not going to be your day, but rain or shine we are there. Today was not my day. I was running late and with only 10 minutes before the jets did there fly over, I needed a place to park. I was in luck as I could just make out the B-2 Stealth Bomber, maybe 15 miles to the north. Switching lens to my 75-300, the old Canon was ready or was it?
Soon the B-2 was coming and in fact it was coming right at me. I was able to bag a good 30 shots.
I headed home and dumped the photos onto the computer and

Oh my, its on every picture
It turned out there was a white hair on the sensor!
Anyway you can see my B-2 picture complete with a hair on the sensor on my website.

Oh well, hello everyone. I hate telling folks about myself, so I will be brief.
Im in my mid 60s and retired.
My father and both of my sons are artist and my dad and oldest son (were / are) pros.
I did go to film school and worked in Hollywood for awhile. But found writing to be most fun.
Im sure you will all remember Vampire Piglets from Outer Space, Sleeping with a Vampire, Dancing with a Werewolf, The Big Hickey, the list goes on.
Vampire Piglets was filmed on Beta max, but some how as gone missing. I have a bad feeling the cassettes were used to make a porn
My current rig (my sons old camera), is a Canon Rebel XT, with a battery grip. Glass: Well the stock lens, a Canon 75-300 mm and a Canon 50 mm (Nifty 50).
I spend most of my time on Av or Tv mode, unless I see a UFO or Paris Hilton, then I will go to the Green Box! This camera has about 100,000 miles on it. Something like 5 trips to the Philippines and it still works great.
My only real problem is that Im not an artist. Very few things I fine worth bringing out the camera for. Well other then kids and dogs, but thats it. This mite have a lot to do with living in the los angeles area. Most places I dont feel real safe, and sure dont want to take even an old camera to. Really tired of the place. Let me say that again. Im really tired of the place.

On my website, I know that even with a copyright it will get lifted if someone wants it. But that is why I put it up there in the first place. I want folks to look and enjoy. I could care less about Istock or Getty.
I just want folks to be happy.
