Just like any computer purchase you have to decide which elements you think are important and then shop accordingly.

I'm about to buy an iMac and I'm aware of some of the cost-cutting measures that come standard with iMacs and I will just choose the options for more powerful hardware that suits my budget and desires.

I've had a macbook pro for 5 years now and i'm looking forward to that iMac.

PS: What a biased-non-article that was.

Full of fluff opinion and short on much else.

Hi I just got a smoking deal on a beseler universal 45 and a cambo view camer with a 150 Mm lens with a copal shutter at a thrift store ,both look immaculate! I love my digital pentax's but the idea of manually setting up each pic and using composition big time is very appealing to me,I will now dust off my medium format cameras as well as my 35mm film cameras, now the question is,how do you Hogg's divide your time between digital and film?

Here is my division of digi and film.

100% film

0% digital

I don't shoot digital, I'm not interested. One day that may change if my ability or finances won't allow a darkroom or the cost of developing and printing with a print house but for now...all is well.

And of course, this only has any real meaning if God exists and what He's said about eternal life is true.

If not, if we are just worm dirt, the result of an accident of chemical processes over eons, then who would care who enjoyed what, who was good to who, who loved who...none of it would have any significance other than baking soda reacting with vinegar.

Nice photo! But on the question if we (or anyone) deserves punishment and torment for all eternity - no, I absolutely cannot agree to that.

It depends on your worldview; if you are a Christian then yes, that's what you believe (because that's what God has said and His word on a subject is authoritative.)

I love the darkroom and wouldn't have it any other way. Until something happens where I can't have one, I will. I didn't start shooting film, (well, not seriously) until several years ago and I shoot film exclusively.

Interesting video but the obvious question is: How does Mr. Dunning and Mr. Kruger know that what they are saying is true? They cannot know everything in the universe, therefore there might be a piece of information that renders their conclusion false. Even they are caught on the horns of their own dilemma.

However the subject goes much deeper than that, folks hold (whether they realize it or not) basic presuppositions that govern how they evaluate any information that they take in...it governs their conclusions. It's unavoidable. And that includes Dunning and Kruger. If they were reasoning logically they'd have to admit that though they state this conclusion as a true fact, it actually can't be pronounced a true fact.

The ONLY logical escape from this issue is that unless you know everything that there is to know in the universe (impossible) then the alternative is that you must know a being that knows everything in the universe who has made it possible to know some things with certainty. (And that's God, one attribute of whom is Omniscience.)

But wait! you say...lots of folks reason just fine without invoking "God"....right?

They do, but they do so only because God exists. They borrow from the Christian worldview while they pronounce that the Christian worldview is false. It's a bit like breathing air all while pronouncing the falsity of the reality of the existence of air. It doesn't matter if they profess belief in air to be able to breath.

Now, watch them come out of the woodwork and tell me that belief in a "magical man in the sky" is lunacy while they continue to tell me what they "know" as if they can possibly know it for certain. (including the "fact" that belief in a magical man in the sky is lunacy)

That's good. I've never heard that. I like Alvin Lee's guitar playing (and his guitar)

I'm also a JB fan too.

I guess I'm in the minority because I do say "thank you for the day" and the sunshine provided, and living for yet another day...it's all an undeserved gift from God.

What an incredibly self-satisfied, opinionated egotist you are - perhaps challenging the arch-narcissist himself (i.e. trump) in this tendency to self-promotion.

Instead of 'preaching' this rubbish, perhaps you should spend a little of your time researching what is really going on in the world and what your president is trying to do to the future of these young people, of whom you have such a very low opinion.

This is an international forum and there are many of us here who can tell you that your "president" is despised all over the planet. No longer can the person holding that position even hope to be called the “Leader of the Free World". He is no more than a global laughing stock.

I only hope that you will live long enough for any unfortunate grandchildren you may have to curse you for what you are trying to do to their future.

To quote from your post - "I saw a thing where they had revealed that she's actually and actress" (your bad wording - not mine!). Perhaps you would like to share the source of this piece of libel which you have had the audacity to post on a public forum?
What an incredibly self-satisfied, opinionated ego... (show quote)

Yawn....you can find it if you google.

Loser.

For those deniers who put the girl down as a joke should look & listen to this guy with her.
He reinforces what she said & many others agree with world wide.

She's a joke and he's a joke ( in this context) I'm an arnold fan but that doesn't mean he knows jack crap about the subject.

The whole climate-scare thing is a joke.

I've lived through 50 scares of varying kinds, g****l c*****g, global famine, g****l w*****g...etc. I can't even remember them all there are so many of these "the sky is falling!" warnings.

They have zero credibility in my book. The science is far from settled and to set this girl up as the Joan of Arc of c*****e c****e is ridiculous.

I saw a thing where they had revealed that she's actually and actress, a front-woman shill for folks who will profit from the move away from f****l f**ls. It has nothing to do with saving the planet and everything to do with who profits.

That's awesome!

I'm a film camera user. I don't do digital. I have a darkroom and do my own B&W and if I have to I also do the odd color print but I mostly send the color out.

I'm looking forward to seeing your prints!

I will not answer you as you are unable to read anything w/o 'REPENT' at the end of your answer.

I have no problem with that..I'm in good company. Jesus preached it...John the Baptist preached it, they all did. In fact it's a Christians DUTY to do so.

I won't ever be ashamed about proclaiming the truth no matter how much mockery is tossed my way.

This says it all.

Rather than tell you the truth of your error, I'll just let Paul do it.

“Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,”
(Romans 4:4–5 ESV)

The gift is free. There are no conditions at all.

Please repent and believe that before it's too late.

I love the old giants of the faith. They knew how to get to the point.

This is a scan of a print of a cactus. It was growing in a front yard in California. I believe it was shot on Tri-X last year.

Do you agree with Thomas Watson that we all deserve Hell and that any breath we take is a gift from God?
