Page 2: Fly Like An Eagle. Steve Miller Band. I used to maintain Steve Miller's pianos at his home and recording studio in Sun Valley, Idaho. Really nice guy.
Couldn't think of this one but I think that's it!!
A great song! I can visualize us all as young adults sitting around the camp fire a bit tipsy and singing quite loudly (and I'm sure off tune as well!) AND playing it on the eight track! Awesome memory, thanks Vicki great idea for a challenge!
Here's one - love to sing this when I want to blow off some steam! I don't think I know another song from this group, but this one gets turned up and jammed too every - single - time.
We would spend the weekend down in Arundel in Sussex, so so beautiful and peaceful, these swans became our friends, they would follow us along by the river for hours
By the way...at 71 years old he still has it... the voice and the moves...what a great show...I was never able to see the entire group together but for over 45 years this has always been my favorite band!
oh no! can't reveal 'til Saturday...it takes the fun out of it for everyone else! (was I right?) Maybe you can post another for yet another of your favorite songs...
By the way, Tina is one of my favorites...grew up listening to her...
Thank you for hosting a wonderful challenge Roadrunner... Almost missed starting up sorry everyone...but a little late is better than not at all... Here goes...Sing A Song....a really true challenge for everyone the poster and the viewer.... Post an image or a series of images of your favorite song...no it's not that simple...you can't actually tell us what song it is....viewer has to guess...on Saturday you can reveal if anyone guessed the title to your song...yes I think this will be a hard one...here is my first clue so far to my favorite song.... He is the vocalist and this was the first song that he wrote ALL the lyrics for without assistance from the other band members...
OK having technical difficulty..here is one clue more to follow...
Had the privilege to last week actually see the vocalist in person!
