At the Manasquan Reservoir Butterfly Garden on a hot and humid evening. Nikon 7500 with the Nikon 200-500mm Lens.

I like it a lot. I traded in a Sigma 500 for this. It is faster focusing, has nice bokeh and is sharp. It is heavier so I got a shoulder strap to carry it. Using it on a Nikon D7500

Taken at the Butterfly Garden at the Manasquan Reservoir in NJ. Stopped on the way home from work and was happy to see this visitor. The Butterfly population seems to be sparse this summer.

Awesome images! Thanks for sharing. Are they resting when they are on the branches. I’ve noticed that they will return to the same branch often and was wondering why.
