The rainbow is pretty obvious. You might try zooming in. As for the cattle, I said it is a cattle field. Sometimes the cattle take the day off or move elsewhere. ;-)

No, they are light pillars caused by ice crystals in the air. I caught this near our home in Southeast Boise.
It's a little grainy, but the opportunity was fleeting, so I had to grab it with the camera I had (my old Nikon D50).

I took this shot while taking pics at a local BBQ competition (I'm a competition cook). It was impromptu and pretty decent.

I went to take a shot overlooking the annual Boise Balloon Classic. What I didn't expect was that a wildfire would erupt shortly before my shot. Here's the result.
