Finally found my way back to UHH, thanks to Pat and Bob (Transbuff.) Thanks for your thoughts, guys!
Anyhow, life took quite a few dumps on me the last month or so...nothing health wise or family wise, just pretty much every contraption in or attached to our house headed "south" and I've been trying to figure out how to fix, who can fix, how much is that going to cost...etc.
Our 4th was a quiet one. I took a drive just to clear my head after the latest fiasco and thankfully I had my camera with me...

welcome back Tim... sometimes, ya have to put a few things down, just to ... (fill in the blank)...
you can always pick things back up....
yep!..
Fireworks !!! Happy 4th !! (and 5th, and 6th..)
Saturday night we went to the Rising Star Casino...
you really can't take a camera in there...
But Sunday Night,,,,
Aurora just plain lit up the river...
The "kids" came down and we had a cookout and while 3 of the guys slept, The oldest grandson, his mother, and I played some games on our deck. He IS "Trouble" - a game favorite because he loves sending everyone back to home base and the game can go on for hours![/quote]
I hate ribs... I always eat twice as many as I should...
then somebody brings potato salad...corn on the cob.. pickles
and omg... I hate ribs...
ok... I lie .... a lot... and over eat... ribs, and brisket, and pulled pork, and chicken....
but I always tell the truth... when it's almost better than mine... ;-)...

well you BANGED it up right !! good shots !!
I have gone out on several foggy mornings
trying to get the steeples of Aurora, through the mist.
Last September, I got this set... and on download
I thought I had struck out again, and left it...
I found them again, yesterday...
And did some serious cropping, and editing..
The last may be a keeper..
The last 2 you have to use the download to see the different finishes
I'm not sure this is all the steeples,
there may be one or 2 below the tree tops...
it started similar to this one...
(
Download)
1st crop and edit similar to this one
(
Download)
Then it became this one...
(
Download)
Finally, the oil paint filter gave it this finish

Download)

Good practice thinking of the possibilities!
I'm having some kind of difficulty here with color being very blue-grey in my photos. The downloads are showing closer to actual. Anyone know a reason why?
I don't have an answer for the blue-gray,
but I sure like this set!!
really nice !
