I just had a scanned copy of a 4X6 print did on canvas at Office Max. It had lots of noise and I added "brush strokes" in PP I think the print 24x36. The one I did was 22X30 to fit the frame I had. I think your picture as a "art" look this may work well for you. As a bonus it cost was about 1/3 of what it would cost at a photo lab. I am posting the picture I had done. - Dave - I do like it

Cool wilsond..thank you for the info...

I'm not sure how they did it, but back in the day when 6mp ff digital cameras were the standard, large advertising photos were made from photos taken with these cameras. I think a lot of it has to do with the printing process. If you deal with pros transferring your photo to the fabric, you'll end up with a great result. Excellent photo!!

Thank you Steve...I'm going to ask around and find her a pro to do it..and give her some different options..

I know the fabric will darken the light areas, but as a personal preference I tend to like the dark more than the light especially displaying fabric. (Shows my personality. 8-) )

I like the photo very much but you might want to be careful because the shadow areas may come out dark on fabric. Possibly lighten it a bit?

Also I'm assuming you have a *very large* original image file to print from? Especially if they want this to be huge.

Thank you Gator...talking her out of the fabric...yep gotta big ole file...

I wouldn't change anything with the light or color. Fabric is going to dull it out more and light doesn't come off well on fabric.

Maybe change the composition slightly and move the ducks down more in the shot.

Thanks tk..I'm trying to talk her into some type of metal print..can't adjust the duckies the other parts of the picture are as we say Sh.ty..that's the only place I could put them and make a halfway decent picture..I tried.. :D
