After seeing this off the highway in New Jersey some years ago I made an effort to stop and take just one photograph. The place is a favorite of photographers and here is a site on the web to see
more about it.

A wonderful capture of a part of NJ history. Wouldn't it be interesting to find a past member's journal revealing the activity and life of the members that attended services in those early years?

Rice! Support California agriculture.

Black oil sunflower seeds are less expensive and lighter than beans, rice, or most other fillers. The larger, flat bags +/- $30.00, I find work very well or better than the more expensive supports that can cost $60.00-100.00 +.

Excellent image.

Great image of an ugly grub. Did you use focus stacking to accomplish the great detail and depth?

this Bald Eagle before it flew away.

A little snow in the garden

Harry, excellent captures; love the added contrast with the snow. I do really like items in the garden.

Photo taken in the late afternoon at Sardine Lake in the Gold Lakes Basin Recreation Area near Sierra City California. My sister-in-law thinks the rock in the lower left corner of the photo is distracting. I pointed this out to another photographer and he liked it as is. I am including both versions and would appreciate any input.

Thanks

George

George, I too agree with Dean; the added color draws me into the scene. The added color makes the whole scene pop.
