I've attempted to add "texture" per Bob's instructions.

Bob, ok, so it's not a texture function per se. Instead its adjusting various sliders. Feel free to make adjustments to this photograph as you see fit.

Per Bob's suggestion, I added some texture to this doorway. I don't know squat about post processing but I somehow managed to find a texture function. So this is my first attempt at adding texture.

Thanks Bob, so how do I bring out more texture? I have Photoshop 2020, so perhaps there is a texture function that I can apply?

Continuing with the Brenham theme, here's an old depot near the railroad tracks in Brenahm.

While wandering the streets of Brenham, Texas, this well-worn threshold belonging to an old forgotten building caught my attention. I try to imagine all the people that walked through those doors, probably starting in the late 1800s.

Brenham, Texas has quite a few interesting old buildings around the courthouse area. This photo was taken at nearby Toubin Park.

Very nice!

I especially like the shadows and reflections in the crystal.

I think the lighting on Mr. Dog is outstanding!

Right up there is the viewfinder. What you see is what you get. You know before the exposure if your light, DOF and composition are what you want. Loads of info in the viewfinder. Flopping mirrors are soon going to be as useful as a Ford model T.

I agree 100%!
The "what you see is what you get" is a HUGE advantage over the flopping mirrors.

These two spray bottles are on a shelf in my garage and I couldn't help but view then as two turkeys communicating.
