Some pictures from Pagosa Springs, train ride from Durango to Silverton and Garden of the Gods. October 2017. Would appreciate a critique. Thank you.
I am having a problem with my scanner. I scan a few photo and everything is fine. Then on the next scan the image comes in much smaller, with the whole scanner window showing. I open the lid and scan again. Sometimes it goes back to the larger image, and other times it doesn't. I have opened both versions in Light room and the smaller image is not of the same quality as the larger image. I scan all my images at 600DPI. I have attached a smaller image and a larger image. Any recommendations. Thank you. ChiefEW
I scanned 500 slides from 50 years ago, while stationed in Thailand. Used the Epson V600 $185,00 from B&H. I am very happy with the results.
I purchased the Epson V600 scanner. I scanned about 800 slides, then took them into lightroom. I was very happy with the results. Here is one of the slides from my tour in Thailand 50 years ago.
Great shot. I was not able to get a picture, but I had a Red Tail Hawk on top of my Purple Martin Gourdes and a crow chased him away. The next day I could see a Hawk flying and a crow chasing him. I hope I can get a picture, but do not want the Hawk hurting the Martins.
I reviewed the two sites.
Has anyone used the Opteka High definition slide copier or the Volverie F2d 20MP 7-in-1 film digital converter?
Thank you.
What settings do you recommend for creating digitals from slides projected onto a wall? I have a Nikon 5300 and do a lot of shots on automatic. Would this work.
Thank you.
I tried to trade ii ii and was told it wasn't worth anything because of the old technology
You have posted some fantastic photos. Please keep them coming.
I bought my Spotmatic in 1968, when I was stationed in Thailand. I still have the camera and a Sun Hi-Tel zoom lens F:4.8 F+85 to 210 lens. It was the pistol grip lens. The combination took some great pictures. All of the pictures I took were 35mm slides, which I plan to show on the wall and make digitals of them.
I saw a post today of my Panama Canal cruise. I opened it to check it out. Later in the day when I checked it was gone. I was hoping to get some critiques. Can anyone tell me why it would have disappeared.
Thank you.
I spent two weeks with the military, at Howard AFB in 1978. I really enjoyed the visit. Took a small boat through the canal and came back by train. I took 35mm slides back then. They're nice, but you had to use a projector. Some day I may get the converted to digital, same with hundreds of slides of Thailand.
We went on the cruise in October. While the ship was leaving San Francisco the Blue Angels were doing exercises over the bay.
All shot with a Nikon 5300 and 200 mm lens.
I just downloaded Adobe Cloud. I am amazed with the Light room program. I have been a member of Josh Dunlop - ExpertPhotography for a couple of weeks. There is no cost to join. He sent a link that gives you 20% of for getting Adobe Cloud for one year.
Nice shot. We used to raise them. They are great dogs.
