I've been following the posts from the Hoggers for several months and found this blog to be a source of useful information. As for myself I have a Nikon 7100 with 55mm, 200mm, 300mm and 600mm telephoto lens. I started with a 3000, then 3100 then 5300 before getting a 7100. My favorite subjects are animals, landscapes, lighthouses, sunsets, moonshots, ship, planes and flight. Flight meaning birds to jets. I like a challenge. I've experimented with other modes but most of the time the results have been lacking. I live in Charleston, SC which provides lots of subjects and I'm semi or maybe fully retired. I look forward to being a contributing member when and if I think I have something worthwhile to say. And, I will be picking brains of the many resident experts.
