All is good Bob, yes what is happening is heavy on everyone’s hart and mind.
On them eyes I have lazy eye non correctable in one eye and really over used the other one plus my work as a dental lab tech

Thanks Ronsh. I'm sure your eyes get a real challenge with you being a dental lab tech! Good luck with them as time flies by. Bob

Prayers your way! Get better real fast

Oops......Thank you Ronsh. I was thinking more about Ukraine and did this photo setup with their colors. The news is so heavy with all the war stuff that I decided to share this peaceful photo.

As for myself......I'm doing fine. I haven't been doing much on UHH due to my eyes not behaving like they use to. Did go to the eye doctor a few days ago as they want to watch things close. Used to be once a year, now every 6 months! So far.....so good according to him. May do some eye surgery in the future if I'm bothered by it. Missing my once 20/20 vision! But now that I'm 80.......life does have its changes. Still working full time also which I do enjoy. Thanks again. I did make a quick change to my wording & added "for Ukraine" just to be a bit clearer. Bob

Very nice set, thanks for sharing. I haven’t been to the Dell’s since the mid 50’s. Did bring back memories.

Thanks 317tman......for checking out my Dells post. Glad it brought back some good memories for you. Probably hasn't changed much since the 50's. Bob

Fine shots, great memories. The Polynesian Hotel and Waterpark was a paradise to my children when they were young! They didn't appreciate the geology and other attractions as much as the adults. And then, there was House on the Rock!

Thank you quixdraw......for appreciating my photos on the Dells & for enjoying some memories from your visits. Interesting to hear about your children's perspective......which I can certainly understand. We mainly did the Dells and left for travel on the back roads of Wisconsin. Since we were there in October it appeared that the waterparks & pools were empty! So my brain pretty much tuned them out! Point of interest.....we lived in Hawaii for 18 years where both our daughters were born, raised and loved! Thanks again and Aloha, Bob

Nice photos!
The H.H. Bennett Studio & Museum in downtown Wisconsin Dells is a very interesting place to visit.

It "documents the history of the Wisconsin Dells and the life of H.H. Bennett, whose stunning landscape photographs helped showcase the beauty of the Wisconsin Dells and the Driftless Area, attracting some of the first tourists."

It's closed for the season now, but this website can provide more info.

Thanks midpix......for some additional information on where to read up on the Wisconsin Dells. I will check into it because it certainly was an interesting area to visit. Very much appreciated, Bob

Thanks for the pictures. I always thought the Wisconsin Dell’s was an amusement park.

Hi danoliver.......So happy you mentioned that you always thought "the Wisconsin Dells was an amusement park." I thought the exact same thing and almost didn't want to go!! My wife convinced me otherwise, but even when we got into the area I was hesitant about some of the amusement type places we were passing. So I made a point of finding a quiet hotel, off the beaten path and real close to where we caught the boat. Once we did the Dells......we left the area for further travel on many of the back roads of Wisconsin which we found very picturesque and enjoyable. Thanks for enjoying the pictures and getting a better vision of the Dells. Bob
