B2 is already a sum. As someone said, you just need b2+c3

I never use the sum function that way. I would use =sum(b2:c3) but that would add the value of 4 cells b2, b3, c2 and c3. Otherwise it's just =b2+c3. Not using the sum function.

All the entries are correct and I used =sum(b2+c3) Column 3 was the deposit, column 2 was the running total.

The formula as you say =sum(b2+c3) will only add the value in cell b2 to cell c3.

I have been accused of not knowing what I am talking about, and this may be just that. I still use SCSI on some devices and Firewire 600/800 on others. No, not to be different, I believe in using what I have. I pride myself on having a great sense of humor.

I still have a desktop that has both firewire 800 and Ultra SCSI 320.

I used Excel for years at work with no problems. It WAS, however, a fully licensed program. I am beginning to wonder if the programs that are not fully licensed don't work quite as well. I do know that it's not fully functional in other ways, but at least I thought it would add correctly. I guess I should download 365. The Excel version I'm using came with the Office package of Windows as I recall.

I don't know of a version that is not working correctly. If you don't have license it would stop working altogether.

Well you don't want us to see the spreadsheet but without seeing it it's hard to know what is wrong. I guess the sum cell is at the bottom. Are all entries in the column correct?

If you decided only to shoot B&W I would say develop the film yourself as B&W chemicals are not expensive and can be kept longer compared to color chemicals. Either do a copy or scan. Scanning is easier but slower but then since I don't think you will shoot a lot of film so the speed doesn't matter. I guess you don't have a scanner so you would have to buy a scanner. Something like the Epson V600? I haven't used a flatbed for film scanning but dedicated film scanner for medium format would be quite expensive. I would recommend against having the lab do the scan.

Bummer. back in my day we never had connector problems or bad equipment. Even running RS-232 all over the plant.

I have problems often connecting a network of 40 devices with RS-232.

Its a quiz, similar to our actual final exam in bowling. Not joking, questions I still recall:

"How many pins in a game of Ten Pins ?"
"What does a ten pound bowling ball weigh ?"
"How many points in a 300 Game ?"

Well when he asked a question and he knew the answer then it's a quiz in which case I wouldn't give him the answer.

No rolling shutter,

DSLR has focal plane shutter (most film SLR's have focal plane shutter also although a few have in lens shutter) and with the focal plane shutter you always have the rolling shutter effect.

This dryer as you know is designed for fiber base B&W paper and is strictly an analog piece of equipment.

Is there a digital dryer? photrio.com forum has many members who do darkroom work.

Biddy card, fat fingers (no nails), I have an adapter for each micro and just remove the whole thing.
Not like I'm doing it 10 times a day.

My post is in response to the one post that said he use the microSD to prevent wear on his camera so I take it he meant he doesn't remove the adapter when removing the microSD card for downloading the images.

This is the strongest reasoning yet for micros... avoid wear and tear on the camera mechanisms.

I am not sure if I use the microSD with an adapter for my camera I can pull the microSD card out without removing the adapter from the camera or not.
