Here's one that I call "Flyover" taken from the lead airplane. It's a slide conversion made in 1970 at a flyover Fairbanks AK, celebrating the Fourth of July.
yes and the others were other hawks and raptors. The Wildlife Center (preCovid) would have photography days for donors that allowed us to get up close and personal with some of their Animal Ambassadors.
Very Cool....hopefully they will open it up again...
Here are a few more...these shots were taken during Thunder Over Louisville..."Fireworks" These are the best Fireworks I have ever seen...Shot from 2 barges on the Ohio River...After an all day Free Air Show...
F is for "flutter". We have a window feeder and I love to watch the black headed chickadees swoop in to get a sunflower feed. Sometimes my camera catches the "fluttering" of their wings as they quickly change direction.
Very nice flutter...I keep trying to catch the birds flying in or out of my feeder...they are so fast! pg. 3
Meet the "Beast" - Nikon's 70-200mm f/2.8 Z lens! After a less than satisfying experience of shooting our belated Christmas program with the much slower 24-200 I finally broke down and got the 70-200 which will work so much better when shooting in the difficult lighting at our church along with other low light applications. It's heavy and long - 50 ounces and 8.9" long and the camera/lens weight is a tad over 5 pounds. But ... it's outstanding! Here are a few early shots using it.

Sue, the 70-200mm 2.8 is my dream lens... I use a 55-300mm 5.6 it is ok but my long shots are not as sharp as I would like... pg.1
