Computer photography, software, firmware, pixels , ccd, the future is here. Great photos from ones and zeros . Full color and anytime B&W. The jargon never stops . Oh don't forget the compression problem and 8- 24- binary ditig or bits or 16 bit and its 64,000 colors. It's going to make my day a little lossy.
Bob, looked at and liked what you are trying to show in your pics. but than again it's Andy Warhol not Josef Sudek . Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way. I can't seem to wrap my self around computer photography. Old people don't like change.
It's not the photograph you took it's the pic you made . Graphic arts?
It falls right in line with some of the great photographs made by UHH members maybe a step beyond
Just a tad more contrast i think . Still a very good , well seen, photograph.
Snap Shot, what is the camera you are using? Just wondering.
B&W yes it's being there standing on the walk way. The tech part of using some kind of software has no effect on the photograph. Very nice. Right out of the camera is good most of the time. Most people fool themselves thinking that using software makes the photo great. It don't.
Why is it not possible to adjust DOF or SHUTTER SPEED using P mode I do it all the time. Dont you remember EV on some film cameras. Fast moving adjust shutter, dof adjust f stop.Simple.
Tell him to forget computer photography and stay with film.It worked before it will work again.
Never work for free. Your time and talent should have at least be worth a thank you. Lesson learned.
Attic, great photo. Did you shoot this in b&w?
You can buy a small light box ,HAKUBA is the one I have, use your camera in macro mode and copy them. This works out quite well. Use your software to invert the images. Should make for some good prints . You should complete your project for about $50 or less. You might build your light box, not that hard to do. Hopes this helps.
Looking at this for sometime, seeing many images within the whole, great. You have a creative eye. I'm sure many others would just walk by not seeing this photo waiting to happen.
Where is the photograph I wonder?
Why don't we just call it a negative image which it is .
