Beautiful captures, and thank you for also including your camera settings.
Thanks GT. I use photoshop and I'll look online about how to do this.

My son worked for a professional fashion photographer and did this very thing...he is highly proficient with Photoshop and is good at photo manipulation...he even worked for the Onion News.
When I shoot a photo, usually in Raw, I want the picture turn out as I saw and imagined it. PP helps me do this. In my old darkroom days, I would do this by manipulating film development time, dodging and burning during printing, etc. It's all part of the craft/art. If I were doing strictly fashion or portrait photography, I would consider hiring someone with superior Photoshop skills if I had a lot of photo's to do, but now that I am retired and most of my travel photo's are taken for pleasure, I also get the same amount of pleasure in PP.
Thank you all for your suggestions
Took this in September while touring Norway. A very beautiful country! Shot with Nikon D810 and using my 28-300MM nikon lens. Post processed in Lightroom.
I live in the Northeast and I am taking one photo each day of the dense woods in our back yard. Currently no leaves are out, but soon the bloom of leaves will fill the woods. This happens quickly and i would like to create a movie like clip from each of the individual shots taken. Any ideas how to do this?

Beautiful!! What lens did you use?
It is a form of creative expression by capturing an image, balancing light and composing a frame in order to reflect ones expression of a moment in time. In many ways the question is not that dissimilar from the meaninless question: Is golf a sport.
Whatever book(s) you find, see if you can get it as an e-read in iBooks. I have several books on my iPad and it is easy to access when traveling and much easier to lookup answers to question you may have. I also bought several videos that helped me learn how to get the best use from my Nikon D810. I also loaded them on my iPad....great resources! Good luck.

One thing I like is the OP/Tech double lens mount. Except for really extreme conditions you can just switch the lens on the camera to the mount -- lens on the mount to the camera. They are cheap at B&H or Adorama. Also great for saving space in camera case.
Great suggestion!! I just when on the B&H site and saw the OP/Tech double lens mount demo. Thank you!
I agree with quixdraw. Use a background that will draw out the color when worn. Otherwise, when someone purchases the item and looks at it, and is surprised that the color is much different than what was expected....not good advertising.
I have a D810 with a heavy lens. I no longer carry my camera around my neck...I don't like the constant pull. Since I purchased a sling style strap I no longer feel the weight of the camera.
