Thank you, dhelix33. Great info you provided here. I'm still on the fence about the 3.3 i5 and 2tb drive but i think i may do same configuration with my order.
I still have a Pentax MX, last time i used it was 2 years ago. Unfortunately, i forgot and left the film in it so processing it now may not get positive result.
Sorry, i tried to put caption in all pics but did not work except for 1st one. #2 is pano of the Tetons #3 i think is the Cascade #4 almost ran over this red fox in Elk Refuge area, just had enough time to grab my camera from behind my seat; i almost hit my face in steering wheel after braking so hard.
Finally found time to collect all my pictures from our August trip to GT and Yellowstone, so here's some. As I was advised before the trip, there was a lot of smoke from the 5 fires raging in the area at the time and thus did not give me fantastic photos like others have posted before.
I have a iPhone6 and downloaded the manual from Nikon download site, saved it in iBooks. Doing that allows me to read the manual even when NOT connected to the web.
Neat, switchman! Our son and his family live in Chesapeake, VA!
Chesapeake used to be called a bedroom community, not anymore. Still better than Virginia Beach which is too crowded now. I'm not the NewYorker is used to be,,,lol.
Switching offices are very much different now, gone are the click and clack noise of step switches (relays). I started from that era 49 years ago working in a rural telephone company. And i'm sure you know the brown and green box (Nortel) were manufactured partly in Raleigh.
