Iluka is a tiny fishing village at the mouth of the Clarence River. It is quiet & laid back, which is why it is a favorite haunt of mine. Downloading is recommended.

Very nice set.

...Penny bridge is the village of Greenodds nearest neighbour and the Penny family built this hall in approx 1848.I've alway admired it's surroundings in the summer and the surrounding trees and lush grass always seem to do it justice. Please check out the download.

Very nice. Where was this taken?

The first shot of the water tower was taken from the New Brighton side of the Beaver river. Several years ago they tore down an old bridge that went between New Brighton and Beaver Falls Pa There is another bridge only 2 blocks away and is on a state highway so this bridge was no longer needed. New Brighton made a small park and overlook where the bridge ended givbing a nice view of the river and dam. The rest of the shots were taken on the Beaver Falls side. Not the best area of town to be in. I never had a problem there!

I've never posted pics before, so here goes. While visiting my sister in Maryland we visited downtown Frederick, Maryland where they have a channel (1/4 mile or so) filled with water plants. Here are some of my shots. Thanks for looking. Jane

My original intent was to shoot a single bloom of a pink Tea Rose. It wasn't until I go home and opened the image on the monitor that I realized I had caught a posterior view of a rather long-legged Katydid standing on top of the flower.

Please view the download for the most detailed view.

Nice shot also a nice suprise!

I've always thought it would be cool to build a home in one of these--maybe cut the top off, flip it and make a pool on top.

Interesting idea!!!!

To everyone who follows my ridiculous posts, this one is serious, and I'm asking for your help. Madame P is in a Boston hospital, and very seriously ill, her life at risk. We're waiting for the surgeons to decide when to open her up, and I'm terrified for her. She is a very special lady, and has touched my life like no other. I can't imagine losing her.
My prayers go out to all involved!!! Wishing her a speedy recovery
Please take a moment and send a prayer or a good thought her way. She needs all the help she can get.

I may not be able to respond here, but know that I appreciate your thoughts and wishes for her. Thank you!
