Re: MasonMike: I purchased a Panasonic FZ300 and loved it. But after two years, the lens would no longer zoom in and out. I purchased a second Panasonic FZ 300 and after a short time the lens stopped zooming in and out. A message appeared saying that if the lens stops moving, shut the camera off and then start it again. I tried Panasonic's remedy but the lens still would not move in or out. Panasonic's message tells me that Panasonic was aware of the problem but chose not to fix it. Davidb1879.

Re: bibsthecat: I began using the Canon SX50 about fifteen years ago and found it to be a remarkable camera. Unfortunately, it has started to malfunction. The lens has stopped moving in an out. By turning the camera off and then on. The lens becomes workable again. I am thinking of purchasing another SX 50. Davidb1879.
