I never manage to get the Bald Eagle in flight or in the water, but yesterday, I was rewarded on both counts. At my favorite haunt, even the boat skippers alert me to the eagle's activity. I was just leaving when I heard several shouts. I was so glad that I had not put the lens cap back on or put the camera to sleep?

On a walk along the Elm Creek this week a came upon a group of Mallards enjoying the open water on a rather nice afternoon. I took a few photographs and continued on my way.

The first photo was right out of the camera and showed promise. The second photo was the result of spending a little time in Affinity Photo making a few changes: removing some trash and playing with the lighting.

We went to an area in Costa Rica where a woman had several macaws. They were not in captivity and cold fly away at any time, but they also knew she put out peanuts for them every day. Because they had been there for so long many mated and ended up with a hybrid bird that is not the native/natural looking macaw. In the first photo there are 2 together the one to the left, more green and yellow is the hybrid and the one to the right is the native looking macaw. We caught them flying around chasing her for peanuts. They were hard to get clean photos of them in the trees, but I got a few. There will be a part 2!

This is a 1937 Talbot Lago T-150 C ( SS ).

This is the prototype of the style # 9220, known as Goutte du Eau...." Teardrop ". It is considered by many as one of the most iconic shapes in the Automotive French Art Deco era. The Fagoni & Falaschi design is flamboyant and elegant. Their use of wild and bright colors made their cars very popular.

There are believed to be only 10 of the type 9220 Goutte du Eau coupes built between 1937 and 1938. These are high performance sport coupes built to rival any of the world's great cars. The example shown here is the only
known T-150 C ( SS ) built with aluminum body and fenders. It's early life was spent in France and Switzerland. It was brought to the U.S. in 2000 and the restoration was completed in 2011. This particular example is priceless.

Crystal Falls, in Canyon area, lies between the Upper and Lower Falls on the North Rim of the canyon. This little 129' falls appears to flow from a small cave-like feature. Vantage points for pics are limited and a bit precarious with the steep walls and protruding vegetation. Very easy to get to and has few visitors, probably due to a rather obscure trail about a hundred yards away from where folks are heading to the more popular falls that share the same parking lot.
