I have been experimenting with photographing jewelry - for no other reason than I find the colours that glass creates in certain light, quite fascinating. These three are all 'stacked' shots - not good, but not too bad for my first attempt. (I hasten to add that the jewelry is not of the 'expensive' kind!)
[quote=Mark7829]Great, what would you pay for them and would you then invest in mat, frame and glass and actually hang? I would think that if they are good, great and nice, you would make that investment. If not, then they are not so great and may not even be nice.
I'm not sure about what I would pay for a print, but if it were mine, I would invest in mat and hang it on my wall. Perhaps even in an e-book with some of my other chosen images to rest on the 'coffee table' for visitors to peruse. I don't believe good photographs should be stored on a hard drive somewhere and forgotten about, or worse, destroyed.

Pretty scene Annie. Did you take horizontal or vertical? I find taking horizontal limits cropping power and vertical with 40% over lap works the best on panoramic stitching.
From memory - horizontal. I'll try vertical next time - sounds like a good theory.
Beautiful! Especially the first one :-)

It was a partly sunny day when I took this close-up of a Bald Eagle from about 100-125 feet away. This is about as close as I could get before the Eagle would fly away. It's a cropped photo. I used 560mm. Always hand held.
Please use the download.
What an amazing shot! Beautiful :-)
I'm hoping one of our English Hoggers can tell me where they were taken. Is it Coombe Martin? And are these still a tourist attraction as they were in 1962?
Few of my photographs take during the 1960s have stood the test of time, but I'm pleased to say - these two aren't too bad. Scanned from 35mm slides
Were the roads any quieter when these were in use?
