The Robin took its time as if it didn't have a care in the world.

The Hummer was frantic.

I watched and focused on this green heron for about 20 minutes when it suddenly pounced on its' meal. I was fortunate enough to capture these shots as it came out of the water with the fish in it's bill ! Thank you for looking and for your nice comments !

Shot from a location along Arbuckle Creek which runs between Lake Arbuckle and Lake Istokpoga here in central Florida. I was given the keys to this wonderful retreat to work on for a total of 4 months in my spare time. Halfway through my time here I'm finding it harder to get my work accomplished as I have so much wilderness around me. I have found a local pair of the Barred owls that still let this seasons chick come and go through their territory. Here's a few of the images Ive captured in the last month. I'm spending most all weekends there now.. My own house to do list will just have to wait... Most all shot under heavy shade in the morning or towards the evening. A little noisy as I'm still using my D7200 DX camera,(I never repaired the D600 a 2nd time). Got good news from Adorama yesterday as the D850 has been shipped. Can't wait to try out it's ISO's capabilities here......

Last Sunday I posted some pictures of hummingbird. Today, I am sharing photos of humming bird moth. This tiny creature is wonderful. He acts like hummingbird, drink nectar from the flower while in the air like hummingbird. He gives a challenge to the photographer to photograph with his speed and unpredictable moves.
