The composition is great.... the image strong as were the puffer bellies that ruled the world for so long... they made America Great. And when we reopen the coal mines and mine clean coal they will live again..NOT.

My father who worked for the RR from age 16, starting in 1919 as a Station Boy, became a Railway Telegrapher, then as Dispatcher for the very busy Industrial Area, Detroit to Saginaw Michigan, until his retirement. He took me to a crossing when the last Steamer passed by telling me it was the end of an era all will be Diesel/Electric after that steam engine was retired.

Your photo would have been loved by him and I would have had a large print made for him.

Over all a nice shot but my thinking is that the plant in the foreground is too dominant. The real picture is Monument Valley in the background. If you took a picture of the plant against a rock wall it wouldn't be very interesting. The plant in the foreground should be used to frame the background where the real interest lies. Therefore I think the best image would be to move back to diminish the relative size of the plant an move it to the left to frame the background portion of the image. Just sayin'.....
