Except it was just before 11 A.M. The storm looked like an end-of-the-world scene, dark as night, Old Testament wrath, etc. Got soaked, but I was glad to be ashore.

Some days are like that, BTW Typo should be Weeping Buddha

Nice, never seen the weeping Buddha before. Here in Syracuse we have an extremely big laughing Buddha which I make a point to drive by often. Seen the sleeping Buddha in Thomas Merton's writings (photos). Thanks

Went with My camera club Sunday on a private tour of FLW's Prairie House built for the Bradley family in 1901 at a cost of about 9,000.00 dollars. 5,000 square ft. It sits on the banks of the Kankakee River.

Excellent Jim. We used to live near his house in Chicago. Beautiful job.

So proud of my oldest son. Worked hard to get here. Was a long hard ride, but he did it. :) Harrison did a good job too.:) 60,000 kids graduated so it was a long day for him. Had a hard time finding Tim in the crowd, but I put the big lens on and found him.:):) Good times!!!

We don't get many blue birds. This is the first this season.

I have no idea why the Finch thought a peace offering was in order. They have this guy outnumbered ten to one.

He's a flighty guy so hard to get sitting still. About 45 feet is as close as I can get.

Sigma 150-500 handheld on D800 in DX mode; RAW.

Very nice, love them both. That first ones a story of cooperation.
