Expanding to buildings for the first time in Minneapolis Minnesota. Was kind of fun actually.

In photoshop I take the photo, adjusted if needed, then I blur it. Then I save it using a dif. name. Like" columbine blur".
I then bring it up in a different window and using that little tool at the top left side I take the in focus photo and slip it on to the blur.
Oh, I have left the blur one at the original size - 5x7 but crop the in focus photo an inch smaller - 4 x 6. it took me a while to get it but once I did it was really easy to do.
Anyone know of a Colorado photo contest they really enjoy?
Thanks everyone.
Yes, it was way back in Gothic Valley where I found the white columbines. On the left side of the hill. I was told about it by a person who had been there a few days earlier. I almost gave us but there they were - in a bunch. And the light was not so good as there were shadows but I was lucky to get what I got.
Really nice setup you have there imagemeister!!!
Very interesting. I am one also who hates tripods. I have a friend who made a contraption to steady his camera with when filming. Worked great. I have a couple of SI lenses I am learning to use.
Wild white columbine from my trip to Gunnison and Crested Butte.
Then made the frame from the photograph and added the word. Had fun with this. Any critiquing welcome.
A nice reality capture.
I suppose that if you bleach the knives it might be ok, but who knows what goes on inside! :)
Not sure how this works so I just want to say Thank you! Hello! I am so thrilled to be here and to share photography with you all.
Thank you for the welcome photonphysicist. Houston! I was there in 2008. Hot, hot and humid but beautiful.
Hi Jean,
Thank you for the greetings. My Dad and his wife visited NZ. Stayed with the local people and they said it was the most friendly place they ever visited. Will post some shortly. :)
Thank you so much Db7423. Where I am right now it is all brown and so beautiful when spring comes into bloom. It's like all of creation wakes up and shouts with beautiful color and design.
