o. Smith is correct. Weather you go Nikon or Canon or another brand buy the best crop sensor camera you can afford.
Crop because you shoot wildlife.
Keep in mind that if you shoot RAW when you put your camera on auto some switch to JPEG.
The 150-600 Tamron is a F5 wide open. I do use a Tamron 1.4 with the lens on a 7D MK2 camera. This combo works in bright light but it needs to be tripod mounted. I usually use mirror lock up and the 2 second timer to be steady. There is n noise at ISO 800 so there is some latitude in speed or aperture.
WSF2B why would you want to get rid of the 150-600 for a 100-400? I have the 150-600 on my 7D MK2 and get great results.
I think C+C requests a critique. I think that the photos are soft. The eyes are not tack sharp.
I think you should check the focus plane of the sensor with the lens and micro adjust as necessary.
I think that the Hershey Museum in PA. has a collection of Tucker autos and various engines and Blue prints of
the car. Also the vehicle used in the movie of the same name.
I saw them first in VA they were owned by a avid collector that willed them to the museum.
The owner told me that he offered them to the Smithsonian if they would build a special place for the cars and have them on
permanent display. They refused, but Hershey said yes. I think Hershey has built or is in the process of building
a display for the cars and other items related to Tucker and his vision.
Trade the 18-270 for the 16-300 better glass and no creep.
Tamron has a fix and they fixed mine no charge
I sent my lens to Tamron and they fixed it.
Gifted One, you are correct I have a 180 on a cropped sensor, and it is great for buggers of all types.
Thanks for the explanation.
I am a bit confused. You have a macro lens, why do you need the 250D or 500D magnifier?
Pleased you were not harmed, there are sicko's everywhere.
Thank you for your service.
Madman, thanks for clearing up the bridge-gate.
Then what is the bridge in the photograph?
Mike, it seems that this photo has been flipped horizontally.
The VZ Bridge is also in the background to the right of the lighthouse and the parachute jump is to the right of that in real life. I fish by the lighthouse every week.
