60D is a fine camera. No need to upgrade. I am a professional photographer and I need the full frame kit for my work, Unless you are selling to large magazines and doing extensive enlargements of your work there is no need to move up to full frame.
You look like you may have some talent brewing. And you may like to take pictures, Heck you may be a budding photographer. If you are you need to get a real camera.
I feel your pain. I sit in my office an look longingly at some of my old stuff. I kept most of it. Its like a memory of an old girlfriend. When you run into them 30 years later. They still bring a smile but you wouldn't want to use them again.
thnx
good equipment, 5d mk2 and cannon 100-400. Helps
Take another one. Thats about it.
Don;'t you love the full frame! It doesn't get much better does it.
Greeat shots at the magic hour. The only one I can catch myself. The other one is way to early.
rember your rule of thirds and try to get the pony away from the busy background. The ones of the head only are pretty nice.
Wow you must have had your ISO and shutterspeed way up to stop the wings like that. Evolution in porogress.
What is your camera? What is an sx 50? Your focus is out as is your resolution. Could be the size of your sensor but the pictures are nice and the composition is great. Too bad your equipment is letting your artistic streak down.
Took my camera for a walk on the Gulf Islands and a few creatures were stirring.

I have the same camera and do the same work as you are planning. First off you are going to love your 5D. We all do. I used sigma lenses on my pentax k-5 and they were brilliant. However. YOu have a cadillac camera why not buy cadillac lenses. I have the 24-100 and the 100-400 and a 2x extender. I can cover anything I need. Mind you the 2x is only good on bright sunny days with the zooom. If you go prime the 2 x will work like a gem. Now all you have to do is find the money to get the glass.
I had a Konica back in the day. They were the state of the art back in the 70's Alas no more. You can get adapters for some cameras but The stuff you have is probably better suited as collector items. Trade them or sell them to a collector and move on to a Nikon or Cannon.
