Our local High School Football Season has begun

I was able to wobble out, and try to capture a few photos.

Focus is a bit off, I need to tune up for the season.

Things are a little slow in local Sports.

Thus posting a couple from Basketball Season 2019.

This Kid who is now in College was only about 5 ft tall, extremely agile, great speed. He was an excellent point guard, ball handler, and quarterback of his Basketball Team.

This was a large private Christian School. Parents very dedicated, and had put a lot of funds in School Facilities.
This Basketball Gym was state of the art, wide run off on sidelines, latest LED light technology a dream to take sports photos.

Camera Nikon D-610, Lens 24-70mm f2.8, Settings 1/800 sec, f4, iso 800.

Wish all local High School Gyms were of this state of the Art with room, lighting, etc.

Pray everyone is doing well, and safe from this Wuhan Chinese Virus Crap.

Lots of good advice.

Due to My advance age, and weight of My Nikon D3s, with 70-200 f28 of which I use a Monopole. Which is not always practical with fast action Gym Basketball.

I have gone to using either a 50mm f1.8 or a 85mm f1.8 with an ISO of 3200 or so with shutter speeds 1/800-1/1000 which seems to work for me.

Our Local High School Ladies Fast Pitch Softball won their District Championship.

Won first round Regional Game, and will play Tuesday May 11th Semi-Finals Regional Game.

A very young Team only one Senior on the team.

Hey Jules

Always enjoy Your work, Weather is getting hot for us here in West Central Florida.

I attended Our Ladies Fast Pitch Softball Practice yesterday at 4pm it was 92 degrees brutal for My old age body.

Our Ladies Softball & Boys Baseball won the District Championship this year.

First round Regional Games this Thursday for the Ladies, and Friday for the Guys...Plus Spring Football Practice.

If the old body can endure lots of shutter clicking opportunities now.

I waddle out to capture a few photos, and try not to get run over.

Good Photos Tom...

That is terrible You cannot have access to take memories for the kids.

Very Blessed here in Florida...and especially with the Schools where I go to take photos.

Administration, and Coach's always very nice to me, and give me unlimited access.

Very Blessed to be able to hang around these kids in the Dugout, etc.

Their Youthful energy, teasing, puts an extra bounce in the step of an old man lugging his camera.
