The Laowa 60mm f/2.8 1X-2X Super Macro APO is about as good as it gets. You will be both happy and proud to own one with the results that it can produce. The "APO" (apochromatic) feature is highly coveted in high detailed imagery and the prices for non-APO and APO can be twice or more expensive.
Laowa is a serious player in the macro lens market and the 60mm is great for the APS-C sensor cameras and the 100mm for the full-frame sensor cameras.
Thanks Sippy, already loving it

You know the next time you're out and you're shooting bugs try pumping up the F stop to about F-16 2 F-22 I don't know if you have a flash or not throw some flash on it just for a change and see if you like it. I thought your floral shots were great! Good luck and enjoy macro, once that I started it it's become a favorite for me.
Thanks Triger, been doing that!!!!

Hey Johnny, I enjoyed reading about your first week with the new lens. I'm going through the same learning curve with a vintage lens I got Saturday, after 6 weeks shipping from USSR. If it would only stop raining I would have some more opportunities. I think If I went back and categorize all my photos most would be shooting with my 105mm macro. If I need to get closer I add extension tubes.
Enjoy your new macro lens. 😊
Thank you Jim, One of the reason I bought this lens is No More Freaking extension tubes
Your new vintage lens is a awesome little lens, you will enjoy it, I've had mine for years, it works better on full frame
better than crop sensor but not by much, Mine is a 44-4m, I use a M42 Macro Helicoid Adjustable Focusing adapter.
works very well.
Your new lens has beautiful colors, take good care of it!!!!!
Dave , Thank you much!!!!!
Well Thank you Robert, Appreciate that!!!!!
