thanks everyone its funny you say im a good poser cause thats what everyone has told me i had a guy hire me in cali just to compose his photos shoots lol shortly after i got my own camera and started doing my own work him and his wife happen to move to the same town jacksonville nc that we did he still helps me with the camera and i help him with the posing i have never been to any school, im 24, and i really have no idea what im doing half the time but people seem to like it thats why i joined so i could learn from your opinions yes the noise is a problem i should just stick to auto lol but i like the shots you get with manual i just have a hard time getting the speed right could anyone explain it??
thanks everyone its funny you say im a good poser ... (show quote)

Blythe, I rarely comment on anyone's images, but I feel that you have a great collection here. I especially like the little girl on the chair at the window.

A great photo is only about ten percent technical, the rest is aesthetic. You seem to have a good eye for the aesthetic. As for the technical side, your images appear to be well focused and well exposed. I would ask for no more.

I have been taking pictures since 1935, so maybe I am too old to be a good judge. Keep going. Be your own severest critic and pay less attention to others. Thanks for posting these.

I have an old canon rebel film as well, it's a great tool to learn with.

I wouldn't worry about upgrading the body yet, I don't think you have pushed it to it's max yet (I'm not being mean, just truthful). If you are looking to up grade, I'd look at upgrading the lens first. Get some good glass and you will swear you got a new camera, the added bonus is good canon glass will move up to a new body when your ready.
