The "senior Pass" is good for federal parks, and national forest service campgrounds. There are several state parks also in Southern Utah. Stop by BLM Office in Kanab and Forest Service in Fredonia Az, for all kinds of information. or PM me and I can tell or guide you to several out of the way places. I live in Kanab Ut. There are horse back trips into the canyons, ATV tours and hiking trails. All with countless photo ops. We have a photographer here that will take you out also. rca1@kanab.net
Thanks for the Comments. I took 107 pictures that day, and we went 50 miles. It is a long way to the bottom!! There is hiking trail in the bottom of the canyon.

I have been using Pentax for thirty years and never regret it, they are as good or better the the "other brands" just bought a new K50, Amazing camera!!!
juniper. i like the photo of it, can't say same for the tree, not much good except for fire wood.
Good picture, like the rifle too.
Thanks everyone for all the commits, makes all the time and effort worth it. Thanks again. Bob
Thanks for looking and the wonderful commits. The old building was for several movies among them, Gun Smoke, Sargent's Three, and the first, Westward the Women, in about 1953. It is on private land and on one keeps it up, no more western also. thanks for looking.
thanks for looking, Not many people know where they are!
Went on a ATV ride a few miles from my home to see several pictographs.
Fog settled in around Kanab so I went for a ride. Old Movie town from the 50's. windmill in the fog, Arch.
Yes there were over 100 movies filmed here. When in the area pm me and I'll be glad to visit and guide you to some of our sights. The Parry Lodge has pictures of some of the stars that were here in the 50's and 60's. most of the town people at that time were in the movies at one time or another. I posted some pictures of a fort built for the movies. not much left of it though, there is a movie town east of Kanab that several movies were film at. we have slot canyons ATV riding, horse back trails and just plain good scenery. rca1
