I sold the one I purchased. Save your money great idea poor implementation.

I just received my Arsenal camera control for my D7200. Just had a chance to get it turned on and so far so good. Does any one else have one of these and what do you think?

I am also 78 and live in the pacific northwest. Have had my P1000 for about a month now and it just amazes me.

I had a Nikon Coolpix P900 repaired on the west coast. It would appear that Nikon outsources Coolpix repairs. The company on the west coast is called Luxtech Repair in Torrance California. I know this does not help your situation but is just interesting information. I hope you get your camera back soon.

I did try it and it worked as expected. Did not want to buy another flash. Thanks for quick response.

I now have my new P1000. I downloaded and printed the manual. External flash compatibility list units ( SB-5000, SB-500, SB-700 ) but not my SB-600. Does anyone know if this flash is also compatible? The manual states "Attempting to attach an accessory that does not support this camera may damage the camera and or the accessory" Needles to say I have not tried the flash unit yet. Any info would be appreciated.

I am acknowledging your comment. Yes this is the unit. It was completely repaired by Nikon's sub-contractor Luxtech which repairs Coolpix camera's here on the west coast obviously at my cost.($162.5) Unit looks as new and functions flawlessly. I checked EXIF data on Lightroom to see how many pictures were taken with this P900 and a best guess is the camera has less than 1000 shutter actuation's. This repair was done in April of 2016.

Did you notice that the B&H photo is only the tracking portion only. The unit I have for sale has the Equatorial wedge attached a $65 addition + the camera shutter release cable a $20 addition + the DEC bracket a $40 addition.
