After some discussion, a potential buyer realized that a ball head would be better for his needs, so this item is still available.
For sale today is a great lightweight carbon fiber gimbal head from Benro. At only 2.4 lbs., this gimbal head can reportedly handle big lenses up to 66 lbs (I have never had a lens that big, so I can't confirm from my own experience). However, I did use it with a Nikon 200-500 on a week-long trip to Bosque, and it performed splendidly. In comparison, the Wimberley WH-200 is 3.1 lbs in a similar configuration. I am only selling this because I have too many gimbals and this is redundant.
Importantly, this has a vertical adjustment, which is crucial for correct balance with a big lens. I believe that Steve Perry had an early video about setting the adjustments on gimbals like this.
This Benro GH5C is in fine operating condition. From the pictures you can see a few scratches, which do not affect performance at all. The unit comes with the box and the matching QR plate, with extra screws and an Allen wrench.
I am offering free shipping to the lower 48, and will absorb the Paypal fee. This is selling new at B&H for about $400. My price is $299.
Please check my references as a UHH seller, and send me a Private Message with interest or questions.
Thanks for looking.

Definitely interested, but on a fixed SS income. Can you do any better on the price?
