Hello all, I’ve been out this morning to get my toenails cut at the chiropodist. I’m only bleeding 🩸 on two nails, 💅 not a problem. I have a short! Something or other ! That makes it awkward…..I knew it would be my fault !,,🤦‍♀️ it was my fault I was born I believe. I’ve booked another torture for eight weeks time.🕰️

Just had another text with Stephen. He’s taken a video of inside a busy train station in Japan at rush hour. It’s so clean and of course busy. I wish this country was clean 🧼 he’s now on sight seeing for the weekend, he’s half way through his visit. It is passing.

I’m going to do a jigsaw, after I’ve read your posts. Love yawl stay safe, don’t let things get you down, really try not to. Lisa hope your recovering day by day. See you tomorrow. X

I'll bet that Eric will like all machinery when he gets older.
I'm like Merlin. I like the pigs and the cows.

There is no way that Eric could NOT be interested in machinery. Alan, Merlin and grandson Harley are all avid mechanics; Eric's next in line almost. Actually, Alan, Merlin and Eric are all over at the workshop now.

I hope the river goes down quickly and the homeless can be settled quickly.

Some of the caravans are beyond repair. I would hate to have to actually live in a caravan, rather than just holiday in one.

Well done with all that exercise, hope it helped you sleep well. Glad there's no more surgery on the schedule, fingers crossed for the healing and not just living with it. xx

Once again words of wisdom Barny!

I don't like this teasing weather either, one day it's got everyone going to the beach and the next we're back in our scarves and gloves.

Not just different each day. This morning was warm and sunny. This afternoon is cold and wet.

We have rivers on either side of Worthing, emptying into Littlehampton and Shoreham-by-Sea. Both towns were flooded badly in heavy rain and high tide yesterday evening. Several caravans were flooded, so there were a few homeless this morning. Worthing was wet and windy but the sun is shining again now. Ceawlin (Elk) lives in Littlehampton, but not close to the river or sea.

Good evening all, just dropping in to say "G'day". I was hoping to catch up on all the posts, but the eye that needs another op on, is playing up, and giving me a bit of a headache😖😣, and it is a bit difficult to read, so this is all I can cope with, until the headache has left ...... or I am able to take some more pain relief. I hope everyone has a good day, and the weather is as good as it can be. I will now sign off, and hopefully I will be able to get on here properly tomorrow evening! xoxoxo

Good morning all from a cloudy and drizzly Norfolk, missed my opportunity to get out in the garden, oh well the weeds will still be there for next time. Meant to say on Sunday the local farmers had their annual tractor parade of old and some not so old tractors. About 100 came past our house, a bit of free entertainment for a Sunday afternoon. Nothing planned for the day, dinner just needs heating up, the weather is lousy atm so will get on with my knitting this afternoon. Have a good day if you can. xx

The Tractor parade sounds wonderful. There's nothing like free entertainment!

Steak, and a large joint of pork, both half price, and two kebabs at a giveaway price.

All is well in my little corner of the world. I got a grocery delivery today. I am with you the prices are very high. I have had 3 orders this last week and cannot believe the total for just the two of us. Most of my stuff was freezer/fridge stuff and once I that put away I figured I might as well finish up. Now off to put clothes in the dryer so I can get dressed.

Alan has just gone shopping. I wonder what bargains he will come home with this time. He's like a little ferret looking for bargains.

I had a walker with wobble wheels. My neighbor came to fix it and he used it a bit to see the problem. Hm, it worked fine for him. Seems the problem was with me. He switched the wheels to slides and as I got stronger converted back to wheels and then they worked fine.

My main problem is the state of the pavements. Slides would not work.
