Was it fairly cold that day? Birds 'fluff' their feathers to improve the insulation.

There is a physical elliptical or circular polarization of light. It has to do with light passing through anisotropic media in which two right angle polarized components that are out-of-phase occur. Here in filter-land I think circular polarizer means that the element 'twists.'

Have you thought about chartering a plane or going by ship. Trying to priorterizing gear almost alway means leaving something behind.

Up in Maine there was a large rock outcropping that in profile looked human; it was called "Man in the Mountain" and featured in numerous State advertisements. But a few years ago there was a rock/land slide and the Man is no more. So when you see these humanoid sort of things - picture, picture, picture & document, document, document.

Sony did that with the lens and sensor from the RX-100. A friend has one and loves it.

Sony also did it with the DX10 -> QX10. The difference between the two is QX100 has more megapixels and the QX10 has greater zoom range. I have the QX10 and find it a little awkward to hold and use. The pics show how I solved the holding problem. You need the Sony app (Play Memories, I think) on your device.

I disputed a charge with my credit card company and it took a couple weeks as well.

That's reasonable as they do have to do investigation and decide on the evidence. My CC is by a local credit union where I can go in person and deal with a real face - no broken English over the phone or totally impersonal over online.

The last time I tried to deal with PayPal my only access was by online and PayPal refused to accept my login - so I couldn't even file a complaint. I ended up sending a paper letter and it was never acknowledged or answered. My report to California authorities got a 'canned' response and nothing else. eBay likewise did nothing. The issue was an item that proved not to be as advertised, in fact inoperable.

I have tried literally dozens of time to entirely purge my name from both of their databases to no effect whatsoever.

In my book both eBay and PayPal are criminal operations.

I would have thought "Wife" and "Off" would be the same position! :)

In the wife position the sound goes directly out the other ear, i.e., no diversion to the brain.

Sounds interesting. What kinds of 'read out' does the meter give? RGB values, color temperatures (black body).

Am I ever happy to learn of the Mrs Renfro's hot sauces. The 'ghost' pepper more formal name us Naga Jolokia and is the third hottest pepper in the listing I found and posted in Chit Chat. The two hotter peppers are: Naga Viper and Trinidad Scorpion.

Doubt it. One of the by products of processing Kodachrome, for colour, is cyanide. I think you need more than your common household tanks and trays for this one.

Which is to say be very careful and take protection measures and be outside the living quarters. And not for novices.
