Thank you very much Linda. Have been highly impressed with your postings using this little gem. In fact, one of the reasons I opted to get it was due to what you have shown on this forum. Keep dem coming :-D :-D

Super photographs....it looks like you are already used to the camera. Good job.
Been a nature photo'er for more years than I can remember. A camera is just a tool of the trade. Been a Canon man fer 50 years. Nice thing bout staying with one system is that a lot of the controls on the SX50 mimics those on my DSLR making it a bit easier to use.

Great lil' camera. A lot of hoggers are happy with it. Tack sharp shots...well done.
Yes tis so. I think it's a good bridge camera but won't replace my DSLR yet!

Very stark shots!
Thanks for looking, appreciate the remark
Just trying out the SX50 I got to back up my T5i DSLR. Looks like a pretty fair beast considering the size of the sensor. Works well all through the 50X and even quite good up to the max. 200X. Cant crop the max digital pics but the IQ even there is quite good. However, will be hard to put down my DSLR and just use this little whatchacallit.
