Years ago, I once lived in an old converted gas station like #1. Only it was a little larger, with another door on the front for a storage area. Actually!, I think it was the original location of the jot-em-down grocery.

Man was that thing ever COLD. It had 15 foot ceilings, and a concrete floor in the bedrooms. Which, were on the storage side of the building. And only a place for a heater in the living room, with the 15 foot ceiling. Heating it was kind of like spitting in the ocean, expecting it to make a difference.

Anyway good shot, brings back some - well - not so fond memories. :-)

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention the toilet was an outhouse. It was about 150 feet from the building, that was an experience on a cold winter night.
